I offer five interconnected services: strategic clarity and evaluation design, evidence collection and analysis, sensemaking and strategic learning, organizational capacity building, and fractional learning and impact leadership. See the full Services page for details on each.

Thirty years across higher education, philanthropy, and nonprofits has taught me that good evaluation only matters if people trust it — and actually use it. I focus as much on how we work together as on what we produce: facilitating honest conversation, building trust, and helping organizations put what they learn into action.

Getting started is simple. Reach out through the contact form or email me directly. I'll usually set up a short call to understand what you're working on before we talk scope. We’ll walk through the next steps and answer any questions you have.

Every engagement is scoped to the work, so I don't have a flat rate. Larger projects can be billed by deliverables, smaller projects are billed hourly, and fractional leadership arrangements are typically billed monthly. I'm happy to give you a more specific estimate once we've talked about what you need.

Yes. While my work has roots in higher education and philanthropy, the core skills — clarifying strategy, building useful evaluation systems, making data usable — apply across sectors. I work with foundations, nonprofits, colleges and universities, and workforce development organizations nationally.

Yes — I have partnered with other evaluators and worked with other firms. I'm always open to partnering. I regularly collaborate on larger engagements or when a project calls for expertise beyond my own.

It depends on the need. Some clients have a defined project — building a theory of change, designing and implementing a program evaluation, facilitating values and strategy discussions — that can range from a single engagement to a multi-year effort. Others need fractional leadership: ongoing, open-ended support rather than a fixed scope. We'll figure out the right shape for your needs in our first conversation.
